Works with your data
Training Signals & Your Training Data
Training Signals turns the rides, runs, and swims you already log into a personal, adaptive training plan and coaching. It's a complement to your bike computer or watch (not a replacement) and your data stays yours.
A coaching layer on top of your data
Your bike computer, trainer, or watch is where your workouts are recorded. Training Signals adds what comes next: a goal-driven training plan, a daily read on your Fitness, Fatigue, and Form, FTP and power-zone estimates, and a coach that adjusts the plan as your training changes. We don't reproduce your device's own app or dashboards. We build the things it doesn't.
How it works
- You authorize Training Signals through your source's own official OAuth screen.
- We import only your own workouts, never anyone else's.
- From those, we calculate your training load, fatigue, recovery, consistency, and FTP/power trends.
- We turn that into a personalized, adaptive plan and coaching recommendations.
- You can disconnect anytime. We revoke the token and delete the data synced from that source.
What we access, and why
When you connect a source, we request only what the coaching needs:
- Your workouts, date, type, distance, duration, elevation, heart rate, and power, so we can measure your training load and match completed sessions to your plan.
- Basic account identity, to link that account to your Training Signals account.
That's all. We don't request anything we don't use, we never sell or share your training data, and we don't use it to train AI models.
Your data is private to you
Your workouts and everything we derive from them are shown only to you, behind your login. We never display one athlete's training data to anyone else.
Synced in real time
New workouts flow in shortly after upload through each source's webhooks, so we sync only the athlete who actually recorded something rather than repeatedly polling. If you connect more than one source, we keep just one copy of any workout reported by more than one.
You stay in control
You can disconnect any connected source at any time from Connections. Disconnecting revokes our access on that service's side and deletes every piece of data we derived from it.
Supported applications
Training Signals currently syncs activity data from:
WahooMore sources may be added over time. New accounts connect Wahoo or Karoo; Strava remains available to athletes who already had it connected, see our dedicated Strava page for details.
